About Me

My Work

I have a background in Commercial Art / Illustration with a Fine Art concentration. My first professional position after college was working for an art studio illustrating science and medical textbooks for major book publishers as well as multimedia projects for college universities. I currently work for AGI, an aerospace software company, as a Creative Multimedia Specialist.

I sometimes work nights/weekends as a freelancer on various types of projects when available. I try to take freelance jobs to challenge myself and to expand my 3D modeling/animation skills.

Spring / Summer of 2008, I was fortunate enough to collaborate with some colleagues on a television series for the National Geographic channel called Factory Floor, in which I mainly built and rendered 3D models for narrative animation segments.

My Play

My hobbies include photography, painting, motorcycles, kayaking, hiking, camping, playing with my dog Shadow and playfully tormenting my cat Nicodemus.

My Passion

Ever since an early age, I embraced the martial arts via television, movies, and books. When I went to college I dabbled in several styles from Isshin-ryu to Shodokan to military combat training. After college, I started training in Kokikai Aikido under Sensei Shuji Maruyama. I currently hold the rank of Yon dan and teach at the NE dojo, the International Headquarters, as well as running the Chester County dojo.
